“This is a collection of records from “Magnetic Dress”, a project that has been produced continuously since 2014, when PUGMENT was founded. I took photos of clothes on the street with my iPhone and printed the photos on transfer paper. The process of recreating the fallen garments by heat-gluing the transfer paper to the entire surface of a ready-made garment of the same shape, and then revisiting the point where the garment fell to the ground to photograph it wearing the Magnetic Dress.”

“PUGMENT設立当初の2014年より継続的に制作しているプロジェクト「Magnetic Dress」の記録集。路上に落ちている服をiPhoneで撮影し、その写真を転写紙に印刷。同じ形の既製服の全面に転写紙を熱で接着することで落ちていた服を再現し、最後に落ちていた地点に再び訪れMagnetic Dressを着用して撮影する、というプロセスを経て制作されました。”
